Bike Sale System Pricing

Hardware

The hardware cost per station is about $2500: Mac Mini, 17" Monitor, Keyboard, Trackball (or mouse), Barcode Reader, Printer, Cash Drawer.  You may also want a firewire backup disk.  We don't currently supply the hardware but can help you with the purchase.

The hardware remains usable for other things, like web access, email etc.

For multiple stations you'll also need a Synology NAS and a gigabit ethernet switch - $1300.

Licensing & Support

We are currently offering the system at introductory pricing.  The offer ends on 30 June 2011.  The licensing price will then go up for new customers but renewals will remain discounted for existing customers:

$7697 for a year for the first station. ($9977 after 30 June)

$7697 for a year second station. ($9977 after 30 June)

$4797 for subsequent stations and years. ($6997 for customers who purchase their initial license after 30 June 2011)

You'll also need to buy one

14-hour support/training pack @ $1497

for the first station and another for a second station, but not for subsequent stations. 

Unused support hours (5 or more) are refundable to 80% after a year. 

It is likely that you would require ongoing support.

If you were to require onsite-setup support there may be additional fees.

Other Services

We have a live, issue-monitoring service we can discuss.  It ensures that we're instantly notified about any issues and can monitor the performance of the system remotely.  Once set up, pricing on that would be a small monthly fee.  We can also provide offsite backup and archiving for your Sales and Product data.

Free Updates

Currently, the system has weekly updates.  It is constantly improving based on observed behaviour and on feature requests.  We can negotiate specific customized improvements.
